THE MEMORY HOOK

A trunk, two branches, and roots.
The character is already a little tree.

Give a word
something to hold onto.
CONNECT IT. RECALL IT. KEEP IT.
Made for curious minds.

Less cramming.

More connecting.

Better remembering.

01 — THE IDEA

A word alone is hard to keep.
A word with a story? Different.

MNEmize brings three small habits together: make a connection, practise recalling it, and come back to it over time.

01 / CONNECT

Give it a memory hook.

A strange sentence. A mental picture. A tiny story. Find an association that makes the word mean something to you.

02 / RECALL

Let your brain do the work.

Look at the word, pause, and try to remember. Then turn the card over to see its meaning and your mnemonic.

03 / REVISIT

Make room for remembering.

Spaced repetition is the idea: return to difficult words sooner and leave more space between reviews of familiar ones.

02 — A LITTLE EXPERIMENT

Your next
“oh, I know this.”
starts here.

Try three cards. Read the word, take a guess, then reveal the connection. Tell us how it felt to see an example review interval.

1 Pick a set 2 Reveal 3 Rate your recall

A small, hand-written demo of the idea. Ratings show illustrative intervals; this preview doesn’t schedule real reviews.

For the words you want to keep
long after the exam.

MNEmize is a student-built project for language learners. The starting point is simple: learning a word should involve more than staring at its translation.

We’re exploring how personal mnemonics, visual associations, and spaced repetition can fit into one approachable study experience.

Currently in developmentAI-assisted mnemonic creation, shared classes, and the full study app are part of the roadmap.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you
turn the card.

What is a mnemonic?

A mnemonic is a memory aid. It connects something new to something familiar through a phrase, image, sound, or story. The best one is often the one that makes sense to you.

Is MNEmize available to download?

The full app is still in development. You can try the interactive sample cards on this page today. This page is a product introduction, not an app-store release.

Does this demo use AI?

No. The sample mnemonics are written in advance. AI-assisted mnemonic suggestions are a planned feature of the full product.

Do I need an account to try it?

No account, email, or payment is needed for the sample session. Your demo progress only lasts while this page is open, and this page does not send your ratings to a server.
